I'll never understand why I love this nerd over Archie. He's egotistical, pompous, narcissistic, and stubborn as all heck. Then again, Maxie is also the nerd who got his glasses to look just like groudon (fanboy alert) as well as having to fix his appearance when Brendan beats him in a battle.
In short, he's self-centered and hard headed but he's also a dork at the same time.
